Bakery Distribution Supervisors

A Bakery Distribution Supervisor manages the daily logistics of getting baked goods from the bakery to customers, overseeing warehouse staff, drivers, inventory accuracy, and timely deliveries while ensuring strict food safety (HACCP/FSMA) and quality standards for commercial and industrial bakeries, focusing on leadership, efficiency, and order fulfillment in distribution centers and retail sales centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, coach warehouse workers and delivery drivers, fostering safety, accountability, and high performance.

  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, loading, and shipping of fresh products.

  • Logistics & Efficiency: Optimize routes, manage warehouse flow, and coordinate with production to meet customer demands.

  • Quality & Safety: Enforce food safety regulations (PCQI, SQF, BRC) and quality control for perishable goods.

  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels and minimize product waste.

  • Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for distribution efficiency.
